Formed again 04:11
See all this time we're given, what can we do that counts for something? Is it true that the world is spinning Just exactly the speed for you and me? Now I know my worlds a mess again But someday it will be formed again We jumped in a hidden river Just to find that it pulls us under To a new world full of hidden treasure Just the place that we were meant to be Now I know my worlds a mess again But someday it will be formed again Into a new creation, the very thing My hearts been craving, into being For now my heart is set to sing along Now I know my worlds a mess again But someday it will be formed again

Pockets 03:16
We all carry rocks in our pockets Burdened by shame and regrets Carrying all our worries and guilt Who can conquer them all? Where is the rest we long for? For the ground is soon to be quenched By a torrent of rain from the sky But impossibly chained to our wearisome ways Where is the ship we long for? That old song I mocked in the dry Why say that your ok? When your weary and fainting, Why settle and let the boulders stay? You know one day They'll drag you too the ground Come lay them down, There's one who'll take the full weight Anytime today, just call on his name He'll be crushed by your stones And suffer in your place It's called Love and grace It's the only way To be free from your burdens so light you'll fly away

West seas 03:29
Was sailing the dark Why did we embark down this shadow path? But a light shone out across the waves And its brightness brought us back home safe We're sailing the west seas For heaven oh please For sweetest rest and peace But a light shone out across the waves And its brightness brought us back home safe Yeah a light shone out across the waves And its brightness brought us back home safe From a land of weariness and pain To a sun so glorious, untamed

Dirty rags 03:57
I'm afraid to give it my all cos before I let myself down It's a pain forgiving myself cos I know it goes round and round But you say you got love for me But how could that be, have you seen my dirty rags I'm a slave to all that I've seen But you say you could save me from myself But you say, its not up to me Its been paid, Just a gift to receive Even though, I still rest in myself Put the weight of my soul On a paper-thin shelf But you say you got love for me But how could that be, have you seen my dirty rags I'm a slave to all that I've seen But you say you could save me from myself This grace is power to save Quit looking to yourself to make a way, Embrace the exchange, where you took my place Put on my filthy rags and took my name You say, what love is, its what you've done for me You say, what grace is, its giving me what I didn't earn But what I desperately needed But you say you got love for me But how could that be, have you seen my dirty rags I'm a slave to all that I've seen But you say you could save me from myself This grace is power to save Quit looking to yourself to make a way, Embrace the exchange, where you took my place Put on my filthy rags and took my name

Stoney heart 03:49
All that I see is a cold dark scene Like I'm stranded at sea But then this hope takes hold of me I can feel in the breeze Your steady love, and promise to me That soon I will be in fullest of joy And awake from this dream Slowly learning to breathe Fighting the fear with all you've promised me Your love will follow me through the night your hand will show me a way to fight So I'll keep echoing But would you take me home tonight Oh can it be that you've set me free A wondrous feat to make this stoney heart beat And this grace is a stream that's continually washing me clean The dead start to breathe, this blind man sees, This Barrabas goes free Slowly learning to breathe Fighting the fear with all you've promised me Your love will follow me through the night your hand will show me a way to fight So I'll keep echoing But would you take me home tonight Your words are fireflies in the dark Enthralling and warming my failing heart So I'll keep listening But would you take me home tonight

Glory years 04:17
Why don't you lay yourself away Take a little time to think what really won the day Surely your strength alone would break You were given help so don't you claim that so brave Defender of the city set for flames Beating in his heart was glory, an immortal name But the victory was won on higher plains Soon to take a turn and gallop through your very gates Still you go , still you stay Thinking gold, thinking brave But soon to fall, soon to break Up in smoke, up in flames Living for an audience of one But trying to please much more Won't ever see me run For this warrior is fierce but oh so dumb Fighting for himself, for glory years, forgetting home Still you go , still you stay Thinking gold, thinking brave But soon to fall, soon to break Up in smoke, up in flames Reaching for the prize of glory days Giving up the life you fight to save Protector of the city set for flames Still you go , still you stay Thinking gold, thinking brave But soon to fall, soon to break Up in smoke, up in flames

Horizon 04:07
To see you face to face Oh for grace And what of my disgrace? Horizon turns to day To see the face That took my place My disgrace I feel the change The endless day The sun won't fade away Horizon turns to day To see the face That took the weight Took my place I feel the change The endless day Oh for grace To see your face Oh for grace And what of my disgrace Horizon turns to day The darkness fades away The Light is here to stay Horizon turns to day

about

My first home-recorded tracks, done using an multi-track recorder. I wrote these songs through my 2nd and 3rd year at Uni, inspired by books I was reading during this period and some of my own struggles with life and faith.
